Mark is a seasoned financial services executive with more than four decades of leadership experience in private banking, wealth management and retail banking. He currently serves as Regional Market Executive at Citizens Private Bank, where he oversees private banking in the Boston region. Since joining the firm in 2024, Mark has driven significant growth, increasing deposits from $450 million to $2.3 billion and loans to $800 million.

Prior to joining Citizens Private Bank, Mark was president and advisory board chair at Cambridge Trust Company. There, he helped double balance sheet assets and led the firm’s private banking, residential lending, wealth management and consumer banking businesses. Earlier in his career, he served for over 20 years as CEO and president of Boston Private Bank, transforming it from a regional institution into a national bank with more than $35 billion in client assets under management and $10 billion in balance sheet assets. A founding officer of Wainwright Bank & Trust Company, Mark has also been deeply involved in civic and charitable organizations. He is widely recognized as one of Boston’s most influential business leaders.
